Foxbrowser app good for
Sync is as easy ever. A few simple clicks and youre done. I now have almost my whole desktop Firefox on my iPad. Goodbye safari.
Would really like to see some bookmark improvements though, such as "open all in tabs" if possible.
sincing between all my computers is so fluid and make me more productive
thanx
Nice to be able to use my desktop bookmarks but there is no bookmark management. You cannot add delete or move bookmarks, but at least they are there. Browser itself works well
This is a very good App. I like being able to access all of my favourite bookmarks from my laptop and open them here on my IPAD. It is almost as good as using Firefox on my laptop. I suggest that you give it a try, and see for your self how useful it is.
The setup was incredibly easy, and I like the sync ability. I know use this over safari.
Its cool that i can use duckduck go, but I imagine most other people would like to change to a different search engine like google. Also not being able to view more than 6 bookmarks on the starting screen and not being able to bookmark pages within the app is a major problem, along with lacking other features safari and chrome have on ios.
This browser is better than safari and chrome. I have used both and this is faster and better in every way.
Some bad moments
You guys need to update this app as it doesnt work anymore with the new Sync inside Firefoxs latest version.
Unless one takes joy in viewing blank pages, Foxbrowser has become a pretty useless tool. Well, you might want to sync your bookmarks back and forth, but that aint fun either if you cannot load a single page. Anyway, lets stay faithful for a few more days...
I just got tired trying to complete the sync instructions. They are a bit confusing and inaccurate depending on tne device. As there are many options out there for web browsing, it wasnt worth the effort unless youre a dedicated Firefox user.
Good product. But my ipad version consistently crashes when clicking the bookmark icon. Please fix.
This app doesnt work at all. It used to, but it hasnt worked for months. It CANT, simply because Firefox no longer provides a code to sync with and they have switched over to using an account password system. They do not support this or any other Firefox related app in iTunes AT ALL, because according to them, Apple wants to control everything. Why am I the only person who has written the truth about this now DEFUNCT app?? Thanks for wasting my time. To the people reading this: youre welcome. I just saved you aggravation, frustration, and time. So much for iTunes app quality control.
Doesnt scroll without clicking links, doesnt load fast. Hate it
